This artwork is a creative close up flower photography.

The artist has used the flower Iris in a blue or lilac shade as the subject for all her work in a project called Reflections of Hope where the Iris as a strong symbol for hope plays the starring role.

The artist studied watercolor painting during ten years. She still looks out for special features like the watercolors flowing transparency in her artwork. The artist accomplishes to bring those features into her work by playing with light and motion. She doesn´t use flash. Instead she uses the bluetinted lightbulbs she used when painting as well as standard daylight studio lighting and sometimes common bulbs and LED lights to experiment with the lighting.

Every artwork is unique and doesn´t allow itself to be repeated because of all the experimentation that were demanded to achive it.

The artist thinks of her own work with the camera and the Iris as a creative journey with no limited end. All is possible when the image is allowed to be born through a creative lens.

Images are available for purchase as signed limited edition fine art canvas prints.

– Limited edition of 30
– Pigment ink digital print
– Signed and numbered
– Certificate of edition authenticity
– Prints are 100% archival with a lifespan well over 100 years.
– The canvas are rolled for the ease of shipping.
-NOTE:At this moment in my career I have outsourced all my printing to a professional printer, Francisart.se in Gothenburg to do all my printing for me.

Hence it takes a little more time to deliver the art but the result is as good as it gets. Worth the time and the trouble.
