I like the idea and am looking forward to the challenge. Will there be comments or feedback on pieces that are not approved for your site? How about a few comments for future art uploaded and accepted? That would would be helpful too.
    Very best regards, TD Wilson

    Hi TD,

In most cases, typically when a new piece is added by an artist, we will be able to provide real-time feedback on why the particular piece is not being approved. This feedback will come via a phone call or a short video message to the artist.

As we continue through the process of rounding out the gallery to include only those pieces that meet our new criteria, we may remove a piece or two from an artists gallery without notification. While I hate doing it this way, it is going to be tough to manage over 10,000 pieces of art, while communicating every move we make.

I will soon be sending out another message to everyone providing more detail on all of this.

Hope that this answers at least part of your question.

As an educator and artist, I am really curious as to what issues are important in contemporary photography today, and what curators are looking for in fine art photography.

Thank you Brian for the update. I will be looking for more information from you. I noticed a couple of my images were used in the video. Thanks for the confidence.
