International Award Winning Photographer and Artist, Wendy Farrow
Multi-layered cityscapes and abstract expressions are the hallmark of photographer Wendy Farrow’s work. In her photography, Wendy attempts to preserve and convey her memory of an entire experience, not only what she witnessed visually, but also the conversations, sounds, smells and emotions she took-in , through texture, color, shadow and line.
Her interest in these places comes from an undeniable presence of the energies that survive in the air, in the structures and in the ground she walked upon while shooting her images.
She captures a “thickness of time” buy trying to incorporate fragments of surfaces, ravaged by centuries of weather, decay, pollution and human friction.
“My hope is to connect with people on an emotional level, help heal some wounds, and tap into stores of positive energy along the way”, says Farrow.
