Canadian Contemporary Artist Patricia Morris
Canadian artist, Patricia Morris, is a painter with some “big time” credentials backing her and her work! Morris studied at Concordia University (MFA), Mt. Allison University (BFA), and McGill University (Dip.Ed.) -
Patricia’s original oil landscapes document a cross-country drive from Nova Scotia to Alberta. These paintings are alive with gestural energy, and explore the illusion of speed while drawing the viewer into minute details and vast distances.
Her wonderful abstractions are inspired by music, playful lyricism and the mastery of formal composition. These pieces are ideal for home or office decor and should immediately appeal to the Interior Designer set.
Patricia’s Quick Figure studies capture movement and mood, and bring the human figure to life. Her figure studies are sold as mixed media, giclee prints.
Patricia has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Kingston and St John’s. Her work is represented in multiple Canadian Corporate collections, including: IBM, Alcan, RBC Financial Group, The Bankers’ Association of Canada, The Province of New Brunswick, Canada Council Art Bank, and UNB.
